Our scope of work included salvage of Native Vegetation (Joshua trees, yucca, and a variety of cacti) from the roadside prior to the start of construction, planting and maintaining the salvaged Native Vegetation in a nursery created as a holding area while the highway project was under construction, then transplanting the Native Vegetation back into the roadside landscape at project completion. BCC also built boulder walls at the late-night trail, created a natural landscape setting using flora, decorative boulders and rocks, and provided decorative steel structures resembling a man on a horse and two burros packing equipment.
