Services

Black Canyon Construction (BCC) is a certified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) and small (SBE) women‐owned Landscape Contracting company founded in 2005, specializing in providing services primarily to the public sector at the local and state levels. While our primary focus is Landscaping and Irrigation, we also hold an A-General Engineering License which allows us to pursue additional opportunities that suit our teams experience.

Our work includes a variety of projects ranging from installing streetscapes alongside new roads, installing decorative rock, establishing new or retrofitting existing irrigation systems in conjunction with landscaping for site development projects, the construction of new parks or rehabilitation of existing parks, and landscaping new schools.

We provide additional services such as concrete, soft demo, landscape and related removals, pavers, and segmental retaining walls, seeding and hydro seeding, grading, site furnishings and decorative landscape metal art.

Kelly J. Perzy
Principal, President

Kelly is the founding principal of Black Canyon Construction, obtaining a landscape license in April 2005. Since, Kelly has built Black Canyon into a major landscape subcontractor in the public arena.

A Las Vegas native with over 30 years of managerial experience in the construction and design industry, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both business management and construction ‐ understanding the dynamics that both represent. This experience gives her a unique insight to the functionality of business and required management/controls to maintain both growth and profitability.

Sidney J. Perzy
Principal, Vice-President

Sid has 24 years of experience in the construction industry, including 16 years of Heavy Civil and Landscape Construction for a general contractor working for public entities.

Sid’s comprehensive construction background includes all facets of business development, contract and construction administration, estimating, operations management and risk management. His background and experience includes working closely with senior level management creating protocols and controls for a rapidly growing general contractor.

Jay has 17 years of experience in the construction of landscape and irrigation public works and commercial projects in southern Nevada. Jay brings expertise in new construction of parks, schools, streetscapes, various public facilities, as well as rehabilitation renovation and landscape (water conservation) conversions.

Jay’s experience includes field supervision, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), client relations, estimating, safety officer, the procurement of materials, and installation of landscape plant, irrigations systems and rock hardscapes.
